To them, happiness would mean seeing every oath fulfilled and every fair word made true, yet they are forced to suffer disappointment far too often. The severity of their punishments may endure beyond a single lifetime. Though few in number, they are spread across vast reaches of the world. Only a handful of places remain where their ears cannot reach. Their members are tested and chosen through a selection of extreme severity.
