Flameborns

"I'm afraid that beast would tear any of us apart, including you"

According to belief, they are warriors born among flames, and barely distinguishable from wild beasts. Their skin is covered in scales, rendering fire harmless against them. With their wings, they tear the sky into pieces like falling stars. When riding into battle, they arrive standing upon the heads of their dragons they have defeated and thus tamed. Then, casting themselves first into the heart of war and then set the battlefield ablaze. Despite their exceptional abilities, warfare is not truly the way of their people, for they hold the protection of their small homeland and the preservation of their culture in higher regard than the conquest of surrounding lands.
