A colossal lake upon the plateau, so vast that it nearly cleaves the land in two. In the southwestern reaches, its waters plunge directly into the colossal ocean. To the southeastern part, the river known as the Aortar carries its flow into smaller lakes, before spilling over as a waterfall and vanishing into a chasm that descends toward the lower realms. In some places, it may be crossed on foot. In others, depths of hundreds of meters conceal the mysterious creatures that dwell beneath its surface. Whatever path the traveler chooses, they would do well to remain watchful — even when beauty blinds the eye.
