Feasting Colonies

"They welcome any visitor willing to help fill their bellies. Or to fill them themselves."

These swamp settlements are, in a sense, mobile villages, for their inhabitants always settle in whichever region they deem most sustainable at the time. Some call them predatory villages. They are the “stomach acid” of the swamp for they consume everything, even that which the beasts themselves would not touch. Their rituals, some claim, are spoken directly to beings of the afterlife, and those who perform them seek to become monsters themselves.
