False Heaven is rising more than four thousand meters above sea level and is the only plateau upon the vast western continent, what is a land scarred by deserts and marshlands alike. It can be reached only by crossing the mountain ridge that borders the land to the southwest, or by climbing the “Stairway of the Gods” carved into the northeastern cliffside. For this reason, few outsiders have ever set foot upon its heights. The climate and landscape of the plateau are ever-changing.
